Things to Do
Located three minutes from the Fernbank Museum of Natural History,
Olmsted Linear Park is a series of parks connected along Ponce de Leon. It is the signature green space in Druid Hills, with walking trails winding through diverse landscaping. It hosts Olmsted Invitation, which brings well-known painters to Atlanta for a week of Plein air painting. The event offers opportunities to interact with the artists.
Lullwater Preserve is a 154-acre preserve in the heart of Emory University. It is a beautiful place to experience nature in the city, with many birds, reptiles, mammals, and lush greenery. It also contains the university president's home, a 210-food suspension bridge, the beautiful Candler Lake, acres of green space, and miles of jogging and walking trails.
Druid Hills Golf Club is a peaceful haven in this community and features a Herbert Barker-designed 18-hole course. The course also hosts qualifying rounds for the U.S. Women's Open and the Dogwood Invitational. Farm-to-table dining, a state-of-the-art fitness center, 11 tennis courts, and an aquatics center with three swimming pools are among the other amenities available to members.
Druid Hills offers several opportunities to interact with the community and have fun with several events throughout the year.
